Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Purpose & Scope

  • This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all subscription services, payments, upgrades, renewals, and add-on services provided by Waliner.io (“Waliner”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) via the waliner.io platform or related interfaces.
  • This Policy is to be read in conjunction with Waliner’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy (as published).
  • By subscribing, upgrading, or making payment, you (the “User” or “you”) accept this Policy.

2. Free Trial Period

  • Waliner offers a 14-day free trial during which you may explore and test the product features.
  • During the trial period, no payment is charged (unless you choose to upgrade early).
  • If you do not upgrade before the trial ends, your account may revert to a limited/free version or be deactivated per Waliner’s policy.

3. Paid Subscriptions: No General Refunds

  • Once you upgrade to a paid subscription, payments are generally non-refundable.
  • There is no refund for the remainder of a billing period or for unused features once the subscription is active.
  • This non-refundable rule applies to all subscription tiers, upgrades, and add-ons.

4. Exception: 48-Hour Refund Window (At Discretion)

  • If you contact us within 48 hours of your initial payment or renewal, we may (at our sole discretion) offer a refund, especially in cases of:
  1. Accidental payment
  2. Duplicate purchase
  3. Forgotten renewal (if unintended)
  • Refund requests made after the 48-hour window typically will not be considered.

5. Cancellation of Subscription / Renewal

  • You may cancel auto-renewal of your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting support.
  • Cancellation prevents future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing cycle.
  • Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current subscription term.

6. Service Failures, Downtime, or Platform Issues

  • If a significant service outage or technical failure prevents you from using the platform for an extended period, we may evaluate pro-rata credits or refunds at our discretion.
  • Any such remedy is limited to the affected billing period only — cannot exceed the subscription fee paid.

7. Policy for WhatsApp Policy Violations & Bans

  • If your WhatsApp number is banned or restricted due to violation of WhatsApp’s policies (spam, unsolicited messages, invalid documents, etc.), no refund will be issued in any case.
  • You are solely responsible for complying with WhatsApp / messaging platform terms.

8. Refund Method & Processing Time

  • If a refund is approved, it will be returned via the original payment method (credit card, payment gateway, etc.).
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days following approval of your request.
  • If any transaction fees or gateway costs are non-recoverable, Waliner may deduct them from the refund amount (with prior notice).

9. How to Request a Refund / Cancellation

To request a refund or cancellation:

  • Log in to your Waliner account and navigate to subscription / billing settings (if available).
  • Or contact Waliner support via email: info@waliner.io (or the official support address).
  • Provide the following:
  1. Your full name and registered account email / phone
  2. Transaction / invoice ID
  3. Date of payment / renewal
  4. Reason for the request

Waliner may ask for additional information to validate your claim before approving the refund.

10. Exceptions & Discretion

Waliner reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to grant exceptions beyond this Policy in cases such as:

  • Documented billing errors
  • Duplicate charges
  • Verified technical platform failures
  • Other special, justifiable circumstances

Such exceptions, if granted, will be final and binding.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India (same as Waliner’s Terms & Conditions)
Disputes arising in relation to refunds or cancellations will be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts, as agreed in your Terms.
